When the mood is right,/
and his brain works in time,/
he takes delight/
thinking in verse and rhyme.

He gets inspiration/
from many a source./
There’s no frustration/
as creativity runs its course.

His brain thinks aloud/
in a myriad of forms./
what others see through a shroud,/
he views as the norm.

As he views life and thinks upon it,/
he can write haiku, free verse or sonnet.

We waste our efforts
dreaming of creating, when/
we could be doing!

Whether for cartoonists,
or cops,
or comics
or commentators,

or dancers,
or artists,
or poets,
or actors,
or journalists,
or designers,
or satirists,
or writers,

we stand,
free,
and dance,
free,
and paint,
free,
and create,
free,
and write,
free,
and speak,
freely,
free.

Can you hear
the people sing,
and speak,
and draw,
and write,
and dance,
and act,
and be?

4 a.m. wake ups/
leave little room for later/
creativity.

The world was denied/
his creativity just/
so they could converse.

When you feel so sick/
you could die, your creative/
talents seem to leave.

I want to be inspired./

This work’s sapped my wit./
I should be done with it! /
My creativity has expired.

Creativity/
requires patience, not only/
from the creator.

Creativity/
sometimes brings huge amounts of /
