Love Says You Can: Revolutionary IMprov Haiku

There’ll always be folks/
who’ll tell you that you can’t do./
Love says: “Yes, you CAN!”

No matter how good/
rag tops are, left cracked open/
will still get you wet.

Today, after years/
of prison, I flat-lined my/
credit cards. Freedom!

I tend to stay far /
away from girls who say they/
need kissing practice.

The people who once/
knew you do not find you the/
way you find yourself.

You write a woman/
a sonnet, with all your thoughts/
upon it, and “poof”.

I’m cracking pine nuts/
with my mom. She complains of /
old age. I don’t mind.

Living on the lake, /
there’s lots I could do, but just/
one thing I should do.

Four toothbrushes. One,/
blue, mine. Three, red, dad’s. Why did/
he grab the blue one?
