What they have’s special./
Yet, she is still out looking./
Should he be confused?

Freedom On Independence Day: Romantic Blogging Haiku

He gave in to her/
wish, and gifted freedom for/
Independence Day.

My best friend told me:/
“If I was you, I’d kill me.”/
He doesn’t see joy.

I ask her to tell/
deep thoughts. She hides hers from me./
Joy if she opens.

She stared into/
her void. Her guide had never/
seen such emptiness.

She stared into/
the void. Guides never saw such/
possibilities.

Justification:/
It’s never as good as you/
honoring your word.

Your mind machin’ry/
runs no matter how you think./
Take time to break gears.

Barriers ahead?/
Figure possibilities,/
then do those, instead!

Imagine the possibile,/
then do that, instead.

Don’t expose yourself./
Open your butterfly heart:/
They’ll rip off your wings.

Strange how memory/
is stronger around heartache./
