He forgets she wants /
to drive the bus. Good thing he’s/
a mass transit fan.

She was so good at/
putting up walls, it wasn’t /
long before he learned.

We ask so often:/
“What would you like?” we forget/
to fill our own needs.

She so often asks:/
“What would you like?”, she forgets/
to fill her own needs.

If you enjoy me/
and my poetry, get used/
to intensity.

It’s up and down and
up and down and up and down
and still I’m waiting.

It’s strange how we can/
hear much good about us, but/
still digest the bad.

Run away to One/
who is safe, who knows how to/
truly comfort you.

I wait for her to
Wake, to reach out, to want me
More than I need her.

Anxious to connect?
Or needing alone time space?
It’s hard reading you.
