Rembrandt’s evening light,/
Rainier’s shadow and wildflowers’/
blooms combine. I weep.

They rushed down the trails,/
got to their cars, drove fast and/
missed spectacular.

OR
They rushed down mountains,/
reached their cars, drove away fast,/
missed spectacular.

Amidst splendor /
caused by sunset light and wild blooms,/
i remove my hat.

While you worked, I was/
screaming, separating a/
rock crab from my thumb.

“He fits much better.”/
She called and said. Why’s she/
surprised I’m happy?

OR
“He fits much better,”/
she said. Why is she surprised/
I’m happy for her?

It is hard to feel/
Soooo ready, and then be told/
That you are sooooo not.

I love buttermilk./
When it’s five months old, use it/
for fluffy omelets.

I was once called a/
“beautiful man”. Now I’m a/
mem’ry, and am still.

… Now just a/
mem’ry, I am still.

Silk lake reflects me./
Full moon peaks through gauzed cloud wisps./
We both gaze alone.
