She was happy she/
inspired another poem from/
me. Then silence fell.

You Don't Know Her Game: Romantic ConTEXTing Limerick

I knew not her name,/
just from whence she came./
She didn’t make it easy,/
and she wouldn’t tell me./
So at last she lost the game.

Since she wants me to/
act like a father, I’ll say:/
“Focus on others.”

Living life out loud/
means you may discover that/
no one’s listening.

Seven years is long/
if you don’t have love in your /
life to sustain you.

Could Leah have found/
perfect love if she and her/
parents had waited?

I don’t believe her/
when she says she wants me as/
her Beaver Cleaver.

On a sunny day,/
she lay in my rag top but/
still kept the top up.

I am emboldened/
and kept awake by her hot/
passion that I sense.

If Joshua was/
on Facebook, would he *have crossed/
the river Jordan?
