There’s so many poems /
to write this morning, but I/
must use the bathroom.

If I’m a liar/
and a cheater does that make /
goodbye easier?

Crying all night long/
makes it hard to open your/
eyes in the morning.

In her heady lust /
for independence, she left/
and was sad, alone.

OR
… she left/
alone, and was sad.

In the end, he thought,/
he always had hoped he’d helped/
them find joy and light.

Her insomnia,/
maybe, was caused by the fear/
of breaking his heart.

What they have’s special./
Yet, she is still out looking./
Should he be confused?

Sometimes she’s awake/
at 2 a.m.. I wonder:/
Should I call her then?

A rose by other/
names is only funny if/
you know the old joke.

Her house is tiny./
With secret nooks for grandkids,/
it’s a magic place.
