Was there a response?

Now what should I do?

Somewhere deep within/
the Dairy State, fresh brick* cheese /
was made just for her.
OR

*sharp

Even in distant/
farmers’ markets, gnomes and elves/
remind me of her.

The attraction was/
not physical, but in the/
potential doing.

She called him “Babe”, then/
decided it did not mean/
anything to her.

She said how she liked/
to fall asleep to rain sounds./
She’d have liked this storm.

She wants a long talk./
Is a night’s worth of touching/
feet too much to ask?

I almost get her/
