I wonder how she/

I wonder how folks /
think I should act when they burst/
my joyous balloon ?

“I shall write her sweet/
poetry, tend her roses,/
and cook her herb’d eggs.”
Or:
“I shall write her sweet/
poetry, tend her garden,/
and pick her roses.”
Women claim they love men/
who make them laugh. Why am I/

I danced with the girl/
in yoga pants, and hoped for/
a chance to om her.
