Imagination/
Runs so strong in both of us,/
Neither knows what’s real.

Keeper Or Creeper? Romantic ConTEXTing Haiku

I would much rather, /
like ivy at zoos, be a/
keeper not creeper.

It’s hard to believe/
she’d leave the love of her life/
for being stupid.

When the end happens,/
like a waterfall cascade,/
the future is Mist*.

*German definition of “Mist” = “manure”

I pull out towels,/
still damp, and catch her sweet scent./
My tear’d moisture flows.

reads my poetry.

“Good morning, keeper!”/
was all the message I hear./
I burst into tears.

It’s funny how we/
write with intensity, but/
then just disappear.

The suction of cheeks/
and crunch of ice and candy/
proclaim her desire.

She sought uniqueness./
When she felt it, like a flame,/
his warmly stirred her.
