me when fully seen.

Stating Aching: Romantic ImproVerse Rhyming Haiku

You may be waking./
It’s selfish to tell aching,/
But I wish I could.

When words stop flowing,/
like when a river dries up,/
a fertile field dies.

When I wonder why/
you don’t contact me I should/
just read your email.

There are so many/
emotions I just blank stare/
with nothing to say.

Do you see the new/
thumbnail moon or is that just/
your middle finger?

You’re right. The goo has/
gone. The bubble has burst. I’m/
left standing alone.

When you won’t let me/
in, I can’t show you my deep/
and tender feelings.

It settles like a/
heavy pool but you release/
it with a few words.

Sleep well and if it’s/
farewell then I guess the light/
of morning will tell.
