glimmer of hope shine, but she/
was afraid to look.

Yes! It was YOU I/
bought the cheese for! And now you/
won’t even see me!

Maybe, he thought, there’s/
a way to woo her so she’ll/
learn to trust again.

If you’re cautious with/
fire you can bank it ’til heat’s/
more useful later.

Let us take a spot/
of tea, just you and me. I /
won’t be too scary.

I won’t touch her skin,/
but I can’t guarantee that/
I won’t touch her heart.

She gazed into her mirror,/
but still never knew/
she was the muse/
he was referring to.

I don’t know that my/
muse has ever exploded/
so much for someone.

We, at last, are in/
the same time zone. Will we make/
time for each other?
