Since I haven’t heard/
from you all day, I just hope/
that you are okay.

Ten Minutes Of My Time: Romantic IMprov Rhyming Haiku

10 minutes of my/
time. Peace, joy, perhaps a rhyme./
Gain feelings sublime.

I have such great news /
to share, but you probably /
don’t care, so I won’t.

I want to take you/
in my ragtop to the beach,/
back into love’s reach.

OR
… away from love’s reach.

Sleep well and if it’s/
farewell then I guess the light/
of morning will tell.

Who needs a lover,
a warm bed mate to snuggle,
when you have a dog?

Pioneers were told:/
“Make the desert blossom as/
a rose!” So they did.

Having a ragtop
lets you wave at the geese V,
hoping they don’t bomb.

When the lightening is/
too frightening I can drive from/
darkness into light.

Thunder and lightning/
frighten me enough to wish/
that you were here, too.
