There’s a near full moon/
out tonight. If you’d let me,/
I’d call and recite. 🙂

Her Hesitancy: Romantic Email Rhyming Haiku

If I looked like an/
Adonis, would that make you/
be much less cautious?

I hate feeling I/
must flatulate, but nothing’s/
there; I sit and wait.

Let us take a spot/
of tea, just you and me. I /
won’t be too scary.

The more that you see,/
the more that you sense, the more/
you’ll Experience.

Why can’t I plead for /
what I feel I need without/
harsh castigation?

I almost get her/
out of my mind … and then she/
reappears again.

Now I recognize/
their call. Lakes say: “Take care of/
your folks. They have boats.”

Amidst all downtown’s/
pollution and decay, still,/
Nature finds a way.

I’d have thought that a/
Father’s Day wish from her was/
not an afterthought.
