eyes. I realized it’s not/
all about dating.

If she’d only fall/

poetry she’d get.

I want to be loved/
for what I think I can be;/
how she believes me.

Our best behavior/
can’t be forced. It’s who we are/
in our core. You’re good.

Why do I worry/
if she likes me? She’s not as/
great as I can be.

I would weave you a/
poem; a word blanket that would/
hold you safe and warm.
