sick. She’ll distain you.

Things not to do when/
you might have the flu: 1) see/
the film “Contagion”.

Why do I become/
critical when working with/
good people who try?

My father was right.
I’ll find beauty anywhere/
because he taught me.

Birds singing sound like /
my phone ringing. I must change/
tones because they won’t.

It’s embarrassing/
to request what you really /
want, then not get it.

It’s so frustrating/
to order what you really /
want, then not get it.

ask for

It comes, some mornings,/
hard and strong, filling downspouts./
It makes flowers dance.

It’s when you’re fin’lly/

wonder what to do.
