It’s weird to learn she/
doesn’t want to be “We”. I/
didn’t know we were.

Facebooked that they are “we”. She/
didn’t know they were.

Even the worst case/
scenario is better/
than knowing nothing.

When you discover/
you’re just an object as a/
lover, you feel strange.

Or
lover, you should object.

Sometimes you put out/
your heart, and people step on /
it as they leave.

Can I make blanket/
apologies? A cosmic /
“I’m sorry!” to all?

You ask for romance./
Should I take a chance with a/
sweet verbal caress?

Sometimes we give folks/
free rent in our minds, when we/
should just evict them.

I face
and embrace
my fear.

It’s being a motivator,
not a regulator
nor intimidator.

For in staring fear down
I find
I don’t drown.
I open my mind.

I am enamored/
of you now. Thus, my world is/
changing rapidly.

In Nature, change must /
happen slow, to give wings strength./
Aren’t we beyond that?
