The Setting Of The Super Moon: Two Haiku
When you’re out of the/
daily grind, you can take time/
to watch the moon set.
AND
Super moon rises/
are grand. Did you miss them? There’s/
still super moon sets.
If you miss the rising of the super moon
in the late afternoon,
don’t forget:
When the grass is early morning dew wet,
there’s a super moon set.

Homage To The Moon, Setting: Revolutionary ImproVerse Free Verse Poem
It’s early morning./
The sun/
sleeps in./
In this winter farmland,/
he,/
lazy like me,/
has not yet shucked
his blanket.
But the moon,/
bright,/
woman-full
and luscious,/
works her way/
through cold/
spindly/
cottonwood-maple-willow/
tree fingers./
They reach skyward
to cup her/
and hold her/
and uphold her/
longer/
until Apollo/
can wake up.
