Valentine’s Day With A White V-Neck: Romantic IMprov Haiku

He asked to be her/
Valentine: White t-shirt with/
red barbeque stains.

She never knew: Down/
the alley was a guy who/
had no guts to ask.

Is a compliment/
kind if it is true? Do we/
speak nice when honest?

She, dressed in red, said: /
“Save me a dance!” I forgot,/
lost my romance chance.

She was set to leave,/
to wash her hair. One more dance/
with me; then she could.

It’s that morning when/
nobody contacts you on/
Facebook: You don’t care!

Blessed are those who/
love their own company and/
have fun with themselves.

I again began/
to find stars in her eyes and/
the muse of her smile.

He thought it was true/
romance. Then he learned it was/
her and Demerol.
