earlier but she’s not there/
’til later, you lose.

Hard Working Sabbath Servants: Revolutionary ImproVerse Haiku

When you are the Lord’s/
servants, it is good to work/
and serve on Sunday.

So many people
tell me I’m a great dad. If
only my kids would.

Free agency means/
we can choose to obey rules./
We can’t make our own.
OR

Free agency means/
we can choose to obey God’s/
rules, not make our own.

He told her she was/
argumentative. “I’m not!”/
she said. He smiled. “See?”

When you feel God has/
left you alone, just endure,/
(like on Fast Sunday!)

It’s hard going to /
singles’ dances and hearing/

Somebody to Love

At their first meeting/
he was so exhausted that/
he was boring him.

She’s distracted* by
art abstracted. I wonder:
What’s under her curls?
OR

I said she should take/
off her sandals to connect/
with Earth. I didn’t.
