who I am with you because/
you didn’t want me.

Fox gloves are pretty./
But, like women, you won’t know/
that they’ll stop your heart.

Do I wait to die?/
Do I wait dying? Weight/
dying? Or die waiting?

So much joy to share./
Music, dancing, happiness./
No one to share it.

She says she wants to/
call and talk. Next, she texts she’s /
sleepy. “Goodnight.” What?!?

I never get glad/
photos of her smile. Instead/
I get office mold.

When she stops writing,/
calling, and longing, someone/
else has filled her needs.

Someone else got her/
vaunted Saturday slot. I’m/
surprised how quickly.

I’ve heard of “OOPS!”:/
Photo-texts not for your eyes./
At least she’s happy

I like my X-laws./
They hate me. When you mess up,/
you sacrifice choice.
