I’m still doing what
I think I should, still wanting
to believe I’m good.

Swallowing That Black Pill: Revolutionary Haiku

Though that black pill is/
hard and bitter to swallow, /
I must have more faith.

I can’t do what you/
expect. I’m not who you think./
At least not yet. Faith.

… Not yet. Please have faith.

Faith and trust. Trust and/
faith. It’s the not knowing that/
makes it hard to wait.

Why do I argue/
with God? I should trust Him. He’s/
always got my back.

You will feel most lost/
right before you’re found, darkest/
just before His dawn.

When I give my own/
off’ring, I can just do the/
best I can, in faith.

I saved them for now./
They are buried, but I will/
find them to use them.

Would she feed me first?/
Or her children first? Or would/
she let me feed hers?*
OR
let me feed them?

Believing I could/
someday see, she bought me new,/
groovy sunglasses.
