huge thrill when she views me, and,/
then, such a let down.

Her butter burger
with cheddar
better
be mo’ betta
than the fajita
that I’ll eat-a.

It’s sad my daughter’s/
validation must come from/
others, not the One.

7:23 a.m.
Even foggy and/
frosty mornings have Beauty/
if you accept it.

10:08 a.m.
No matter how grey/
and foggy our path may be,/
the Son will shine through.

Let me know when
you think
the thought
you think
you’re going to think.

How long
do you think
it will take
to think
the think
you have to make?

Will she want to play?/
Or will she simply want to/
say: “Nice knowing you!” ?

You’re never too old/
to rock and roll, but it seems/
you can be too young.

I stood in the front/
room for a while, but no one/
was home, so I left.

Men know they are too/
intense when they write poetry/
and there’s no response.

Those once would have been/
my tracks. Maybe they one day/
soon will be again.
