moves me to glad tears.

Today I had a/
bright idea: Work in a/
rose’d Sculpture Garden.

Art’s business also
must include dumpsters, repairs
and new disposals.

Returning to Art’s/
Temple is more glorious/
when I see old, new.

You sorrow knowing/
you have more stuff to get rid/
of than you just did.

When you stay longer/
than you thought you would, you wear/
the colors you have.

You know you’ve moved out/
when the final food storage/
box is taken out.

I don’t know that I’ve/
ever seen this red rose bloom/
so much. New owners.*
OR
*Sad goodbye?

I took a last walk/
through my yard, pruned a single/
red rose, threw it out.
