not. What if we treat each one/
we meet as a great?

Mother’s Book Nook: Revolutionary ConTEXTing Haiku

My mother’s bookcase/
shrinks from room-sized to notepad./
Her book list explodes.

Every Father’s Day/
there’s one message missing. This/
year, it’s not his child’s.

Saying dont worry/
about you is like saying/
don’t care about you.

In Dutch town they run/
out of fresh buttermilk on /
Saturday mornings.

She thinks that she otter
Stick her toe in dating pool’s water.
Will taking a break
Be a big mistake
As she becomes online date fodder?

She wants room without/
temptation. Okay. It won’t/
have much of a view.

When she starts to feel/
too much, too deeply, quickly /
she finds ways to not.

Again, she remains
a quiet woman. What do/
I do to wake her?

The audacity/
of daily poetry has/
overtaken me.
