Waiting For The Roller Coaster: Romantic Blogging Haiku

It’s up and down and
up and down and up and down
and still I’m waiting.

Asphalt jungles sprout./
Wildflowers grow and bloom. It’s /
Mother Nature’s house.

It’s strange how we can/
hear much good about us, but/
still digest the bad.

Run away to One/
who is safe, who knows how to/
truly comfort you.

The road seems foggy./
It’s hard to see well. We should/
turn on defoggers.

I wait for her to
Wake, to reach out, to want me
More than I need her.

Anxious to connect?
Or needing alone time space?
It’s hard reading you.

Early morning staring./
Blank phone screen. Black smooth water./
Looking for answers.

Or
Waiting for answers

Rembrandt’s evening light,/
Rainier’s shadow and wildflowers’/
blooms combine. I weep.
