As I again got/
the courage to say: “I know!”,/
others confessed, too.

Who’s The Feeder? Revolutionary ConTEXTing Haiku

Would she feed me first?/
Or her children first? Or would/
she let me feed hers?*
OR
let me feed them?

As a creative,/
should you ever stop looking/
for inspiration?
OR
As a creative,/
never retreat from searching/
for inspiration?

If we expect Him/
to “defend all our midnight/
hours”, we must stand guard.
OR
we can’t attack.

The morning sun smiled*/
warmly at me. What else could/
I do but smile back?
OR
*grinned

Why would someone steal/
my car antenna? Of course!/
My Seahawks’ * feathers.

OR
*My Sounders’ feathers.

Just before sunrise,/
roosters crow and the sky turns/
blue. I’d not heard that.

If fines are imposed/
for uncovered loads, must I/
raise up my ragtop?

Isn’t it awesome/
that we’re given battles to/
fight to make us strong?
