The world will always /
look fantastic, even when/
you ask: “Where am I?!?”

I Write, But How Will She Know? Romantic ConTEXTing Haiku

So much was written!/
Should I send her poetry/
though texts? Email? Both?

As the sunset of/
red and gold painted the sky,/
he remembered her.
OR
As the sunset of/
red and gold painted the sky,/
he recalled her hair.

Seriously?!? I/
again prove myself much too/
intense. I’m so dense.

Enthusiasm /
is too often mistaken/
for desperation.

OR
Enthusiasm /
can too oft be mistaken/
for desperation.

It’s easy to squash/
men’s enamoredization./
Just criticize them.

To be a poet!/
To try so hard with phrases/
and words. To then fail.

When a woman’s eyes/
shine like two supernovas,/
don’t Photoshop them.

When the woman you/
came to dance with doesn’t show,/
help in the kitchen.

Who would guess that we/
disciples would meet at His/
feet on Yom Kippur?
