I will respect her/
enough to back away, while/
Facing her with hope.

In Your Darkest Hour Light: Revolutionary ConTEXTing Haiku

In your darkest hour,/
fall on your knees, bow your head/
and seek His love’s light.

You will feel most lost/
right before you’re found, darkest/
just before His dawn.

He was not surprised /
that she made him cry, but these /
were not tears of joy.

The Prophet’s message/
is simple and direct. I’m/
glad I’m obeying.

We must understand/
the difference between where we/
are and who we are.

Why do we care when/
we’re different? God wants us to/
be. Satan doesn’t.

After he’d emptied /
his glands, she only hoped that/
he had washed his hands.

She didn’t want to /
talk to him, but *her going /
was legitimate.

legitimately.

I would like to claim/
I’m a closet romantic,/
but I’m surely not.
