emotions I just blank stare/
with nothing to say.

desert when your neighbors come/
out to watch rainstorms.

Do you see the new/
thumbnail moon or is that just/
your middle finger?

You’re right. The goo has/
gone. The bubble has burst. I’m/
left standing alone.

His tender voice will/
no longer calm and heal folks/
if they won’t listen.

My tender voice will/
no longer calm and heal her/
if she won’t listen.

When you won’t let me/
in, I can’t show you my deep/
and tender feelings.

It settles like a/
heavy pool but you release/
it with a few words.

Sleep well and if it’s/
farewell then I guess the light/
of morning will tell.

I guess my calming/
influence and gentleness /
still isn’t enough.

She claimed she really/

now she’s proving it.
