Because I believed/
in dreams I woke up enthused,/
hoping you did, too.

and hope you do, too.

I was either too/
intense or too short so my/
intense burst was short.

What is it like to/
wake up in the night and ask/
if you’re still dreaming?

More pink roses with/
no one to send them to, but/
looking makes me smile.

She was proud that she/
had played a large part in the/
dam bursting open.

Thinking she’d return
for cobbler, I froze peaches/
last year. She didn’t.

His fantasy, at/
first, was just to meet her. Now/
he wants to see stars.

Yes! It was YOU I/
