Gazing at my phone./

Waiting for a call that won’t /come.

I think she’s done.

Sometimes I wonder/

what it would be like to not /

miss U any more.

You asked me to be/

quiet and leave you alone./

You got your request.

Why do I feel guilt/

for not seeing you when we/

have our lives to live?

Crunching ice while he’s/

thinking of you is all a /

man should want to do

It was, he thought to/

himself, a fantastic and/

wonderful message.

Because your nighttime/

determines your day, I’ll ask:/

“How’d you sleep last night?”

So much was written/

already about silence,/

there’s not much to say.
Or
there’s not more to say.

I was so glad to/
be able to say something,/
I didn’t let you.
