my life just happened and I/
have nothing to say.

A Better Airshow (With Sunset) : Revolutionary ImproVerse Haiku

Sorry, Oshkosh! This/
evening’s airshow at the lake/
was free (and better!)

This evening I took/
the chance to see birds’ awesome/
free sunset airshow.

I’m addicted to/
share pics and words with folks who/
don’t care, and see theirs.

I was going to/
watch fireworks, then decided/
to watch fireflies dance.
OR
I was gonna watch/
fireworks fly, then decided/
to watch fireflies work.

Have I become too/
old, at last, to want to go/
out dancing weekends?

The red disc slowly/
slips beneath the horizon.
I can’t help but yawp.

Men stand, beer in hand,/
looking, bored, stage-ward, while their/
women dance hot. Why?

Sunsets, just like life,/
are made more beautiful when/
there’s stormy weather.

It is sunset, and /
time, not to rhyme, but to yawp,/
or you might miss it.
