First two, then all. Our great joy
turns into sorrow.

Until Recently Lazy Now What – Haiku

Until recently, /
I’ve been lazy? Or not. Yes,/
and I’ll create change.

I preach creation,
and yet I’ve stopped my own. It’s/
time to start again.

This is not what I
expected or wanted. Where’s the
Peace? Must I bring it?

Welcome to my home./
Come! Tell me how to eat! Don’t/
expect to return.

I’m grateful for folks/
who can fix what I can’t. Wish/
*I could pay them back.

“Already I’m so lonely*”/
To have much meaning.

Mamma may be proud, /
but that won’t guarantee her/
child’s love or respect.

crash at our house,
hang out with us,
sit by us,
or take my wife out
to lunch.

I’m setting boundaries.

I’m trying to be

Christian.
