Some one person has read me./
Will she ever call?

*oops. It wasn’t “her”.

I recyle waste:/
Beer cans. Coke bottles. Not mine,/
but the world’s better.

It is amazing/
how technology can slow
down your life so much.

Strangely apropos,/
a dying phone’s last message/
is to its main muse.

Five decades I’ve watched/.
o’er lakes, peaks, fields. Never a ./
sunrise like this one.

I like my X-laws./
They hate me. When you mess up,/
you sacrifice choice.

Late cold rainy Spring./
It’s my first drive through a green/
Southwest Idaho.

4 a.m. train horn./
It whistles lonesomely long./
I wake and miss you.

Your relationship,/
new, dissolved a friendship I/
thought true. I didn’t.
