My phone breaks. No photos. Just/
like Lewis and Clark.

Farewell old young friend./
I will miss your laugh and love /
but you’re not bound now.

That moment when you/
aren’t sure your kids are safe, and/
then learn they are. Tears.

There are times, (mostly),
when any vantage point is/
much better than none.

Ask tough questions and/
you’ll get hard answers. But then/
you can deal with them.

I hear my girl’s pain./
