When we know the pain/
we cause, why are we silent? /
Don’t we understand?

At The Center Of The Universe: Romantic ConTEXTing Haiku

Life IS about me./
I tried to make it about/
her. She won’t let me.

Photos of flowers./
I’d send them to her. But she’d/
think they’re for others.

I’m intense, but get/
less so. She’s shy, but blooming./
Will we middle meet?

Like the True Ring, she/
calls to my soul, even when/
she doesn’t call me.

It’s weird to learn she/
doesn’t want to be “We”. I/
didn’t know we were.

OR
It’s weird to learn he/
Facebooked that they are “we”. She/
didn’t know they were.

Even the worst case/
scenario is better/
than knowing nothing.

When you discover/
you’re just an object as a/
lover, you feel strange.

Or
lover, you should object.

Sometimes you put out/
your heart, and people step on /
it as they leave.

Can I make blanket/
apologies? A cosmic /
“I’m sorry!” to all?
