She spends her time in/
my blog*, reading. I’d prefer/
she spend time with me.

Never A Bad Sailing: Revolutionary ImproVerse Haiku

Just when the wind died,/
and I thought sailing was bad,/
I saw a rainbow.

I tagged a martin,/
purple, soaring with the wind,/
thankful for her Muse.

I was called Clark Kent/
again. She would not check and/
rip open my shirt.

She needs to feel safe./
I need to feel loved. Are both/
possibilities?

Now I recognize/
their call. Lakes say: “Take care of/
your folks. They have boats.”

When the going gets/
tough in my life, I cast a/
lure in the water.

Why do 70’s/
love songs make me miss her, a/
60s girl, right now?

Did I get* what I/
wanted or give her what she’d/
never known about**?
