To try so hard with phrases/
and words. To then fail.

Thankful For You: Revolutionary ImproVerse Haiku

Since you’re reading this,/
you should know I’m thankful that/
you are in my life.

You should be glad for/
the night before when you see/
you can’t anymore.

When we understand/
that there’s not always just one/
“right way”, we can grow.

Once we finally/
see our true selves, we start to/
suspend disbelief.

If we find truths and/
master emotions from them,/
we perfect ourselves.

There is a point when/
experiencing is more/
vital than life.

She thought that I slept,/
but I was simply watching o’er/
her while she slumbered.

Got the chance to jump/
in the lake at sunset? Leap!/
Despite the skim ice!

When she said writing/
my feelings wasn’t needed,/
she ripped off fingers.
