I hear sweet music

not on YouTube, but under/

a tree in Boston.

When she has her own

Oasis and it’s not you,

what are you good for?

Buying seeds to plant/

isn’t the same as planting,

weeding, harvesting.

The Zen of garden

hand watering only works

when you remember.

When you forget her

Mama’s dogwood seeds and they

still grow, she’s aware.

be aware

be alert.

When you have at last /

planted all of your gifted

wildflowers, you rest.
