Sleep well and if it’s/
farewell then I guess the light/
of morning will tell.

Since your parents,
children,
siblings,
grandchildren
are family,
you can’t lose them,
so it’s logical
to dump me.

I thought that I
was more support than that
but you sleep with your dog,
and can’t kick a cat.

So without a doubt,
I’m the one that should be left out.
And so again,
I am.

I guess my calming/
influence and gentleness /
still isn’t enough.

She claimed she really/
didn’t care what I did and/
now she’s proving it.

Few folks are as smart/
as me so I am in awe/
of straight common sense.

It’s obnoxious when/
I think she thinks of others./
At last I relate.

As surely as the /

Why in a desert/
do downspouts not splash water/
onto the parched earth?
