Laying on the grass/

know what her needs are.

I lay on the grass.
Like sunshine, wisdom’s revealed!
I don’t get women!

There’s a fine line/
between caring and stalking./
I’d like to find it.
I’m sorry what you/
read hurts your heart. It’s made up./
Your silence isn’t.
I never even/
thought her ‘other plans’ could mean/
Vegas without me.
After all the deep,/
tender times we shared, her last/

to woo me and do me, but/
not to let me care.
Congratulations!/
You have successfully shut/
me out of your life.
From 3:15 to 5:49 a.m. Sunday morning, I obviously wasn’t sleeping very well, as I write 9 poems/haiku … and didn’t get much sleep!

suffer even still.
