Parallel paths run thru city streets,/
’til an odd twist makes them meet./
Now, with a new path b4 me,/
Do I struggle 2C/
where/
it’ll end?/
Do I care?/
No! I dive in!

She’s my shy TV/
personality who just/
sends bare skin footage.

She finally revealed/
the source of her hair’s eros,/
so I revealed me.

When I awake from/
slumber feeling you near me,/
I remember dreams.

One dance per Woman,/
then they say you dance great but…/
Yeah. Really. No, thanks!

She did dance funky/
and well once with me. Will she /
again? I can hope.

Some people are your/
supporters, some satellites./
Hard to tell, sometimes.

Instead of dark red/
leaves to welcome me, her hair/
greets my arrival.

The west wind and whitecaps churn
on my long-fetched Midwest lake.
I relish the violence and yearn,
as I have from my youth, to take

a naked dive,
to absorb nature’s dual power;
to be alive
in the storm’s most blustery hour.

I’ll swim and be swept, alone,
unashamed, unabashed, through the foam
of the surging, pounding freshwater sea;
and will learn, again, how it lifts and carries me.

I know when, at last, I emerge, from its power cleansed,
I’ll breathe deep in my soul and feel fully alive again.
