I wrote a haiku/
for you. That’s empathetic./
What more can I do?

A haiku this morn/
makes me look outside before/
I fall back to sleep.

Every time I watch /
the moon rise o’er Mt. Rainier,/
you walk in my thoughts.

A good morning haiku /
that i dared not send you/
’til now. /
Goodnight!

I can’t play cruel games/
as though my heart can not feel./
I must press forward.

Throughout the whole world,/
faithful people do small deeds/
that lift and help us.

You’re just in time/
for a late night rhyme/
caused by a sleepy fantasy/
from me.

Newlyweds in bed?/
Now’s the time mother-in-laws/
should discreetly leave.

I thought of you and/
then tried as much as I could/
to keep a sane mind

A woman asked me if I had “stock” haiku, that I just sent to women who I wanted to impress. After assuring her that I did not, I thought it might be fun to make one… so here it is, along with the blanks filled in.
