Is it fun/
2 get thus turned on?/
Is it me/
who’s sexy?/
Or poetry/
that sets thee/
on fire/
with desire?/
(He asks coy questions with a smirk/
as she heads off 2 work.)

Awakening in Spring: A Romantic ConTEXTing Poem
I, thru the winter wait,/
sleeping hung,/
but now am awake,/
and sprung/
into action/
because of the attraction/
your words create./
I dont want 2 wait/
4 satisfaction.
Quad of Revolutionary ConTEXTing Poems
That’s 2 poems u’ve received/
from me./
Oh wait! Here’s 3,/
to thee./
And if I send one more,/
that will be 4!/
A quad of rhymes sent/
2 someone I haven’t/
yet/
met.
Spring's Sprung in Me: Romantic ConTEXTing Poetry
Spring’s sprung in me./
Every time I c/
a message from thee/
waiting there,/
it’s like a breath of fresh air,/
or the warmth of a fire/
that lights the desire/
in me.
What a Touch Means: A Revolutionary ConTEXTing Poem
U must understand/
that the touch of my hand/
really means nothing./
It’s only a way/
4 the Father 2 say/
U r doing ok!/
He’s got you in His sights/
U r doing alright!
Alternate version
U must understand/
that the touch of my hand/
really means nothing./
It’s only a way/
4 the Mother 2 say/
U r doing ok!/
She’s got U in Her sights/
U r doing alright!
Sorry Spring Frost: A Revolutionary ConTEXTing Haiku Apology
Several months ago, in the dead of winter, I wronged someone I think the world of. I’ve tried to figure out how to say I was sorry when saying “I’m sorry” wasn’t believed. Maybe through this Haiku?
I remain sorry./
Like frost before spring sun’s rays,/
I have no defense.
By Request 4 a QT: A Romantic IMprov Sonnet
Her online photos were cute,
her bod was, to boot,
(and though some may not care
I have a thing for blonde hair!)
But her profile caught my eye,
and made me laugh and sigh:
Some of the things she said
spoke to my heart and head.
She likes passion, and romance, too!
Even her name – a QT wanting U –
And I knew, from where I stood,
when we were done, she would.
So I think I’ll invite her to wave at the cops
going topless on I-5 in my rag top!
Morning After Regret: A Revolutionary ConTEXTing Haiku
In context with the previous haiku, it must be pointed out that “together we slept” simply means we fell asleep in the family room near each other, NOT that we “slept together”
After together /
we slept, she protested much./
She had been drinking.
Tropical Chocolate Dreaming: a Few Romantic ConTEXTing Haiku
I visited a friend, who served me chocolate from the Big Island. We drifted off to platonic sleep. I dreamed. These are versions of the same dream haiku. I don’t know what she dreamed of.
We ate choco-late./
Holding hands,we fell asleep,/
dreaming of palm trees.
————
We ate chocolate late./
I caressed her face, hair, hands;/
We dreamed of gold sands.
We ate chocolate late./I caressed her face and hands./We dreamt golden sands.
Soft Skin Let In: Romantic ConTEXTing Haiku
When she finally let/
me in, she had the softest/
skin I’d ever felt.
